This can be the greatest thing in your life or a nightmare depending on the effort you're willing to put into it.

This is a call out to anyone that goes here or plans to go here and doesn't have insurance to pay for your dose. Starting September 14th they're going to make you pay 112 dollars all at once for your weekly doses, now if you miss a day for ANY reason they keep your money you don't get it back and it doesn't roll over anymore. So if you have a problem with this please speak up i can't change this by myself i need some people to get on board I'm starting a petition as long as they'll allow it, and I'll post them at the clinic please take 1 minute to sign it. This treatment facility has saved my life! If you work the program how it is intended and follow the rules and guidelines then, you can be very succesful in your recovery. When you first start, the 'single dose lines' can be a very long wait, though if you get used to the times you can show up at the right time when they are not so busy. Also, if you do all of your groups in an orderly time, then you can get your weekly takehomes in as less as 9 months, take my word for it bc I did! If your looking for an alternative lifestyle and a way to be productively successful in recovery and life, then try SITC! They can help tremendously, though you have to do the work as well. I have been attending this treatment center 2 plus years and besides being switched counselors 5 times in 10 months the staff seem to really care and Paul west ACTUALLY UNDERSTANDS ADDICTION..The rules change every 2 weeks but nothing major. The BEST move for an opioid addict would be the methadone center, follow the program and actually ONLY take your medicine and watch your life do a COMPLETE 180!!

Started racing motocross at 6 by the time I was 14 I had been taking hydrocodone & oxycodone for 6 years tried to kick the habit for 16 years , this place got my mortgage BACK on trake and my life and my money back, The government needs to stop helping haroin dealers by being so stricked on the methadone clinic's. people who die mixing methadone is nothing compared to the number of people that die from harion. ((( harion dealers hate methadone clinics ))) , someone that goes to the clinic and has there life back in order is not near as profitable as someone hooked and strung out on harion ,so every time you make it harder on people that goes to methadone clinics and gets take homes , the better chance harion dealers has to get costumers back. Governments stop treating methadone clinic's like a enemy and more like a weapon against harion

This place helped me to get back to having a NORMAL life, with having a pill addiction you had to base your whole day on if you had pills and how many you had because you couldn't do anything when you were sick. I was in a car wreck and was prescribed hydrocodone.After 3 yrs I was ready for help.Went to SITC and they dosed me that day and I got my life back on track.I went back to school and got my Associates degree and now have a great job.Most of the staff there are great, and they really help you.

Without this place I would be DEAD RIGHT NOW. I THANK god for this place. Some people may not understand it but the life i was living before was crazy and I was doing illegal things every single day to get a fix. Stealing from people and stores. sadly. I didn't have insurance so I couldn't get help. I wanted help. I found this place and havent looked back since. I live like a legal citizen and don't do illegal things anymore. im not a thief. drugs just made me do things I never would of otherwise done. :( but this place saved me. Their was NEVER a day when I was doing heroin where I said, you know I think im going to do less heroin today. nope that never happened, I always wanted more more more. it was gross and sad. but at the treatment center I go down on my own and ill be out one day soon and im so proud of myself. im such a better person and I can't wait until I accomplish this. :) the treatment center can be frustrating to deal with at times and not all the workers are nice. some are mean & abuse their power. but their are some really nice and caring peopole there, although theirs a stigma there and some people don't agree, all I have to say is, if you seen how I was before and now, I know you would rather any addict go here than to do street drugs. this drug is different. it affects you different. yes you can abuse it and the people that do abuse it make it look really bad for the people who work it the right way and are there for the right reason. Its the only choice available in Southern Indiana so if you go here for help you better take it seriously. The only way you will be successful is if you quit all other drugs as well as opiates! No taking extra meds when you earn take homes and be able to pass your drug screens without faking them! It is a strict program and they are for a reason. Some counselors are better than others and my experience gave me two very different ones in the two years I was at this clinic. Both counselors do not work there anymore. I now have transferred to another state and the rules are very different but just as strict. I have completed three years of methadone maintenance and because I follow the rules, I have not had to experience withdrawal in a very long time. I just don't have the will to taper yet. Everyones path is different, I don't know how long I will be in treatment, but this is better than the life I had before. You CAN do it!

My experience at SICTC has been a good one. I am nearing my completion of treatment, and just wanted to express my gratitude to them for helping along in my recovery efforts the past four years, and let others seeking treatment know that if you are serious about your recovery it is a great place to be. If you enter this specific treatment program, and are serious about your rehabilitation, it is a great program. If you follow all the rules and regulations and take the time to do things the right way, and seek out classes and other information about getting your life on track, than this program will definitely work for you! My time @ SICTC has not always been 100% driven I the right direction (on my part), but they have always been there providing me with counseling, classes, and well more than enough information that I could utilize to make my life better and to be in a very good spot in my recovery.

I have been on the program for several years it has saved my relationship of 25 yrs ,it was the best thing that I ever did .It saved my life that for sure .And for every one that wants to say that they don't care about the patient, and that they have to many rules and that the lines are to slow,they must understand it's a Dr Office .And sometimes they are busy .And as far as the staff tthey have always treated me with the most up respect.And as of the rules as long as you follow program it will help you ,I see a lot people that are abusing the program they stand in line cussing and complaining ,it's so embarrassing to me the some of people run to the door and damn near knock you down to be in the front of the line like they scared to death that they are gonna run out of medication. And they wonder why people do not want these clinic in there neighborhoods you can't blame them.and in their behaves I don't blame them but I just wished they wouldn't think that all the patient are bad people because we aren't. And I guess they never will.And I just want to thank all the staff there for saving my life patient ###

Only people unwilling to own their issues would knock this place, in that case, keep your negativity away from positive people, like myself. I would recommend to anyone serious about getting their life back, just don't be a hater if you don't want to put in the footwork, nobody owes us, we owe ourselves! Thanks to SITC, and my own hard work and effort, I am 'me' again, and, come to find out, I missed 'me' & so did my loved ones. There's more than one way out but, I chose to survive, I hope you do too...
